Error logging into ITS.

Hello.

I'm very new in ITS area, so please apologize if my question is either very naive or obvious.

After the configuration of the ITS Service in the Web Application Server, I tried to login into the ITS:

http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/

Apparently, I'm able to see the login screen.

However, when I try to login into the ITS using my SAP ID and SAP password, I get the following error.

'Login is starting' message is shown just a while, and suddenly the scrren is back to the first login screen

with the following error message.

' No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password '

What should I do ? How can I solve this problem?

Additionally, ( I doubt this explanation is helpful for you to resolve my problem )

after setting ITS service 'ZFITEST002' in SICF, I tried to login into the ITS:

http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/zfitest002

Then, Sing Sign On screen is shown and I can access SAP F-43 scrren successfully.

ZFITEST002 parameters setting is like below.

~AUTOSCROLL 0

~GENERATEDYNPRO 1

~LISTSCROLLING 0

~POPUPS 1

~STYLE DHTML

~TRANSACTION F-43

Hi Chul,

Have you implemented SSL on this WAS?

If not, pleased refer the following link for SSL support:[Click here |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/3a/7cddde33ff05cae10000000a]

Can you please check your applications configuration in Tr. SICF?

Open the node corresponding to your application i.e WEBGUI on the TAB error pages click on system logon. This takes you to the "System Logon Configuration" screen. Here make sure that the switch to HTTPS has been set up.

Another option is just to remove the warning and not have the Protcol switch to HTTPS in the "System Logon Configuration" screen

The login page is therefore no longer a functionality of ITS but of the Web Application Server (WAS). By default ITS Services uses the standard system login pages that WAS provides. You can customize in transaction SICF what login procedure should be used and which fields should be available on system login page. This can be done global or per service. The documentation on the SAP help portal contains information how this can be done. Click here
