Hi,
We have a scenario where we need to send the files securely to External system.
Please let me know the best approaches
1. The client has a VPN connectivity. So, from XI is it possible to contact external system via VPN. How is it been achieved
2. If i click FTPS, there are various options related to keystore , use x.1 client authentication etc., What are all these things.
Please let me know as it is going to be receiver file adapter.
Regards
Krish

This is enabling of SSL communication on adapter engine. The various required fields information could be retrieved from the SSL configration on ur J2EE engine.

Bhavesh,
Let me put you this in nut shell.
My client FTP server can be connected only via VPN access.
So if i need to send my files to their server through XI, how do I achieve it.
Will XI by pass the VPN connectivity or is there any other configuratio to be done by my network team.
Does it relate to some firewall on either side, Please do share some light on this.
Regards
Krish
From my point of view, VPN should be handled at OS level, not application level.
Hence, you could either:
1. configure OS to automatically connect to VPN (same configuration as dialup connection);
2. set VPN connectivity at router (some routers enable automatic connection to VPN).
Regards,
Henrique.
