Refresh ALV that uses STATUS_TEXT_EDIT

Hi all,

I've implemented the refresh button for my ALV report output.

In this ALV I have a field that means system status that I get it using STATUS_TEXT_EDIT function module.

If I run the report and the ALV is displayed, then change the status from other transaction and then refresh the report their is NO change in my ALV.

If I go back and run again the report it appears changed.

I run the report in debug mode and it seems that the objnr is the same, everythig is all right, but why this function module is geting the old system status?

Thank you in advance,

Diana

  • I was also facing the same issue i made use of bypass buffer and it solved this refresh issue.

    CALL FUNCTION 'STATUS_TEXT_EDIT'

    EXPORTING
    flg_user_stat = 'X'
    objnr = it_caufv-objnr
    ONLY_ACTIVE = 'X'
    spras = sy-langu
    BYPASS_BUFFER = 'X'
    IMPORTING
    line = data_header-sttxt
    user_line = data_header-asttx
    EXCEPTIONS
    OTHERS = 1.

    use bypass_buffer = 'X' this will solve your problem.

    reward point if useful.

    After the change you have to reselect the Data from the database freshly, inorder to get the changes to ALV. or else if you are sure of the value which is changed you can update the internal table and show the value.

    No.. I use it just to get the status for an order.

    To change it I go to iw32 transaction.
