Hi All,

We are creating a synonym in XS (HANA 2.0 SP 2)

For which we have created a User Service as well to call the DB Objects.

Issue is whenever we are trying to search an Object while creating Synonym, it shows error as "Unexpected token I in JSON at position 0".

Error comes irrespective of selecting or user Service or not.

It was working fine before but suddenly we have started receiving this error.

Regards,

Abhishek

what is the code behind this event ? have you debugged?

Hi Sergio,

We have not debugged it.

Also we have not created any Javascipt code, its just a synonym that we are trying to create.

Abhishek

You really shouldn't need to be debugging the tooling provided by SAP. If you get a JavaScript error in our tooling, that's what a support ticket is intended for. Let SAP know you received this error so we can fix it. Also consider updating the Web IDE to HANA 2.0 SPS 03 which is available now. It has many fixes in it. Perhaps this error has already been corrected.

Hi Thomas,

Its kind of an intermittent issue.

Now when i check the issue its gone. But still will raise an incident for this.

Also it would be great if you can have look at https://answers.sap.com/questions/496442/sap-hana-pal-predict-regression.html

Thanks,

Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,

This issue has been fixed and the error (meaningful message, not what it currently shows) will be shown in the dialog itself in SP03 patch01 release. Mostly, the reason for this error might be that the service credentials are incorrect or maybe the port is different as compared to the space to which the tenant is mapped into.

I was able to reproduce this consistently if I fill in the credentials for the User provided service incorrectly.

Gourav.

Hi Gaurav,

Thanks for your reply.

But search box works for us sometimes, its kind of an intermittent issue that we are facing.

If it's an Invalid Credential issue then it should not work at all.

Also the port is similar to space to which the tenant is mapped

HI Abhishek,

As we checked today, it was due to a password expiration case. Once the grantor Service has the correct credentials then it should go through as it was before the password expired.
