Periodic Billing: Update of Billing Status

Hi,

I'm using Periodic Billing for a contract. I've posted billing via VF04/Billing Due List. Billing document, as well as corresponding Accg entry, was posted. However, the Billing Status in the Contract Billing Plan tab is not updated to "C = Completed".

What is causing this?

I also used Milestone billing plan, it works fine. but for Periodic Billing Plan, it doesnt.

    Hi,

    In periodic billing, system generates billing documents over a period of time say monthly, quaterly....

    from VF04.

    Status will show complete only after last bill is generated.

    This is my openion.

      thanks for all your help.

      something was wrong with the item category setup. periodic billing plan updates to "C" for every billed/paid period.

    Hi,

    The system is not updating the status, because you might have made the contract for a specific period . The period might not have been completed. See the period of the contract , it might be still left.

    Hi,

    I guess there might be something wrong with the copy control from Sales order to Billing document. I had faced this issue and corrected it by changing copy control settings.
