SAP portal and Infoview : SSO and SAP crypto lib

Hello,

I have followed every instructions from the documentation for the integration kit and everything is working fine but,

The SSO between the SAP Portal and Infoview.

Is it mendatory to install SAP Cryprto Lib to make the SSO working ?

If not, is that possible to get the main lines to setup the SSO?

Hi Selvam

No need for the crypto library to be installed.Only check the following things :

1.you need to configure the SAP authentication on the BOE Server

2.you need to configure the default system in the option dialog

3.you need to import the users and roles

4.all machines need to be in the same domain

5.you need to make sure the BI system accepts the tickets

6.you can then integrate InfoView into the portal via SSO

Are you able to naivgate the folders in Infoview after the Single Sign on from Portal.We are constantly getting Timeout error when we try to expand the Public folder.Have you encountered this earlier anytime ?

I encountered the same problem.

It is because you have not deployed correctly to BO's Tomcat.

- Try to undeploy and flow the Integration kit doc instructions to deploy

- Or simply uninstall the BO and reinstall ( make sure that every tomcat services are deleted )

do u say you have received the timeout error at your side ? we have uninstalled and installed the BO and SAP IK but no success.
