Hi experts,

I have to upgrade from PI dual stack (NW04S_14_REL) to PO 7.5 single stack. I'm new to PO.

We have 230 interfaces (420 channels), 70% with file and/or XI adapter, other 30% SOAP, HTTP, RFC, IDOC, or interfaces without mapping.

80% of interfaces are with ABAP proxies.

How can I migrate those interfaces? Do I have to use Content Migration Tool?

In the Tool guide i've read that we can only migrate to ICO, it's true? Could you tell me what is ICO? In PO we can create only ICO interfaces?

Which is the best way to proceed?

Thanks,

Fabio

Hi Fabio,

An Integrated Configuration is a single object where you define what is the sender, receiver, you can define routing and mapping. It functions as a single point and there is no need to create sender agreement, receiver determination, interface determination and receiver agreement anymore.

You can use the Migration Tool to convert your classical scenarios to ICOs as on Java-only system only ICOs can be used.

For more information check the page Migration of Dual Usage Type Configuration Objects ("Classical Scenarios") to Integrated Configuration Scenarios (Java-Only)

Best regards,
Mate
