How to enhance business partner bank details Structure BUS_EI_BUPA_BANKDETAIL

I need to add a couple of fields to BUT0BK and LFBK tables. These fields are not to be shown on UI but derived from other fields on BUT0BK. e.g from bank account number entered and some other data in the system.

I had problem with extending structure BUS_EI_BUPA_BANKDETAIL. Enhancement category for this is set to "Cannot Be Enhanced". Please suggest how this can be achieved.

Because of this I could not continue with SMT mapping.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions?

Rohit, Based on bank details entered on UI, these fields are determined and stored in to addtional vendor master table and also replicated to ECC system using IDOCs. I've acheived this using custom handler class, but I wanted to do this using new entity types. For now I' got this. Thank you for your response.

What is the need of adding couple of Z fields in BUT0BK/LFBK table if it is not shown into UI?

Is it for reporting purpose ?

If you are using MDG as a HUB, are you going to replicate these fields to Target system using IDOCs ?
