Material listing or exclusion based on division

Hi,

I have a requirement that some customer should not buy certain division materials and should buy certain division materials only. Here I cannot maintain customer/material combination as no of materials are huge. I have tried material listing/exclusion for the customer and material division. I have done the all standard configuration correctly. But still it is not working. I doubt material division level it will not work. Did anyone tried as this and confirm me that will this combination work?
