custum component in service desk message

Hi all,

is anyone implemented custum component selection in service desk message ?

if so could someone point me to the right direction

any links or documents would be helpful

i had tried in sdn as well as in market place but not sucessful

Hi Vijay

If it is related to the SAP component in the service desk message, you cannot enter the components otherthan the list of SAP components you are getting in the F4 list.

When you try to change this to your own component, you will get an error for the invorrect component. With this sometimes you cannot able to set the status for the service desk message.

In another way, you can by pass the error message in the program, and can enter your own SAP component in the support message.

You have to ask SAP for addition of this custom component for you.

Its the same for us.Open OSS note for the same.

Pls assign pts.

Hi,

do you mean custom component selection or how to select a support team or user according to the component.

I beleive their is a blog on support team determination. You can find it in a special message in this forum regarding solution manager blogs.
