Hi All Basis Pundits,

Can anybody tell me from where i can get detailed information about transaction codes like what is it,What are various options avialable in it.How can we use different menu options available in it.

Example in sm51 menu options like List,edit,goto,settings,system and help.

and various options inturn in List--print,export,send and refresh.like this for every menu.

Hi,

there is no one place where all the detailed options for every tcode are listed. You will have to go to help.sap.com, sdn and F1 to get more information. As long as you know what transaction does what, that really helps. One good place to do that is sm01. Be extremely careful though because this transaction is used to lock/unlock various transactions for all the users.

Hi. First of all read "help" for SAP GUI, open saplogon and press F1 or login and navigate --:> ALT+F12 (Customise Local layout) --> SAPGUI help

second --:> Go to se93 and check all t-codes...

For each transaction window (for testing go to sm04) , after in meny tab --> system --> status.

Under "sap data" you can find "GUI status" --> double click on this content --> After expand the "Function Keys"

and you can see all FK for this transaction

Hi,

Goto SE16 and enter the tabe name as TSTC in this table you can find all the trasaction codes and there description, You can filter you search by SM* for monitoring, DB* for databses and so.

Try exploring each tcode.
