PS: user-exit before exit CJ02

Hi all,

Could anyone help me about verification when 'save' in CJ02.

In fact I have created new fields in the table PRPS in the include CI_PRPS and I manage these fields in a new tab (user exit CNEX0007).

I have some fields wich are obligatory, however when I use transaction CJ02 I can create and save an WBS without fill the obligatory field.

How I can check before the 'SAVE' that the user have filled the new field.

Furthermore with the transaction OPUK I can't manage my new field.

Thanks in Advance

Regards,

Vincent

You may use [OPSI|https://ww.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=ops&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue] (*) to edit PS validation rules.

(*) or SPRO Customizing, Project System, Structures, Operative Structures, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), [Maintain Validations|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=wbs+validation&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue]

Thank a lot for your reply Raymond,

I have just a question, I created a new rule as you suggest in the OPSI. I put my rule in the profile project but when I create a project or just one WBS, my validation don't have any effect.

Did I forget a step to activate the validation?

I also run the program RGUGBR00, but none written have been create in the differents include in GBTAUPS0.

Thank you

Did you go through OSS [Note 440186 - FAQ 2: Validation and substitution in the project|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/440186], validation steps are

- Choose WBS Element

- Create new validation

- Create new step

- Mention the prerequisite (e.g. TRUE to check each tilme)

- Mention the check (eg PRPS-ZZXXX not equal ' ')

- Mention the message with field message type as 'E'
