SAP Lumira License

Hello,

We have a valid license for SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform Suite premium edition that includes a license for SAP Lumira Server for BI Platform and Lumira Desktop versions. The license metrics shows that it is for 50 concurrent users.

1- How will this metric (i.e. 50 Concurrent Users ) be applicable on Lumira Desktop version which is licensed only on named users bases? How many different installations on different PCs we are entitled for as per this license?

2- If we install SAP Lumira Desktop on some PCs only for training purposes on our company's internal training facility (strictly for company employees attending training only) , will these installation be counted out from our license?

Ahmad - my view: please ask licensing questions to your SAP Account Executive; it is difficult for the community to answer here.

My take: what counts are production licenses, and therefore training licenses typically don't count. But it is difficult to know the agreements between SAP and your company; your SAP Account Executive should have this information for you.
