Release procedures

Can we transport release strategies from one server to another ?

I observed many things not asking Transport request number. so suggest me the best practice.

    hi,

    for characteristics and classification there is no request generating so u need to do it manualy on diff server,

    Yes you can transport the release strategy from one server to another, the only thing is you will have to manually populate the data for values in charateristics....

    Thats the limitation.

    Values you cannot Transport. You need to Maintain in Production also.

    Hi,

    You can tranpsort Release strategy but some of the master data like assingment of object to class(CL20N) has to be done all the server since it's a master data.
