Hi!
We created a two-level location hierarchy structure in our APO system. (SCM 5.0)
We then assigned customers to a transportation zone in SAP R/3 (ECC 6.0) and transferred the customers to SAP APO through the CIF. SAP APO is supposed to create the transportation zone automatically and generate the corresponding hierarchy entries according to the APO system documentation.
This does not happen when the transportation zone exists even when a new customer is transferred with an u2018Initial transferu2019. (Through program RIMODINI) Do anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong? What settings must be checked for this functionality to work? We have searched for notes on this problem, but have been unable to find an answer.
Thank you!

Hi Iwan,
Kindly check if the customer is maintained as node in R/3 prior to CIF.
