Grouping

I created a report that has several groupings. However, I realized that only one group is useful. How can I show data associated with only one of the groups?

Hi John

From the problem description it seems that you want to display the data for only one group. To do this, you need to suppress all other Group Headers and Group Footers.

To suppress the Group Header and Group Footer, Go to Report Menu> Section Expert and then check the suppress option for the respective Groups.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

I think that I need to suppress items of data in the group. Is this possible?

You can right click on the group header section (gray area) and footer section and go to section expert and supress the groups that you want to hide. Place the required fields in detail section or un hided group header or footer.

They are not separate groups, there are 10 items in one of my groups. I only need one of them though.

If you want one of them then you can right click on the unwanted objects_go to format field>supress
