Failed to open connection when opening report in InfoView

We get the following error when trying to open any report in InfoView. This is only happening after our database server changed, but the ODBC connections appear correct. Can anyone help with this?

Hi Amos,

First of all, check that your ODBC is working. Do this thorugh ControlPanel->Administrative Tools->DataSources. If this is working then good.

If the connection test is successful, update your conneciton theough "Set DataSource Location" under the Databadse menu in Crystal Repoorts.

Thanks for the reply but those steps have already been completed. The error is: Failed to open the connection. C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\{79365855-0177-401B-9213-204E7A9B8CF6}.rpt

This happens in InvoView when trying to run the report from another computer.

Since the database server changed, did you modify your odbc connection on the crystal report server to reflect this new database ip?

The problem is fixed. The system DSN name needed to be changed to reflect the new database name for the report to run properly. Thanks for the help.
