Personalised Response Code (PRC) in Campaign


Dear SAP gurus,

We would like to use a Promotional Code to be attached to our Campaign and we came across an SAP standard function called Personalised Response Code (PRC). However, i have a few doubts about this PRC code and hopefully the experts in this forum can help to answer.

From what i read, the PRC code can only be used during the "execution" of Campaign eg: inserting into an outbound email. In our requirement, we would like to have the Response Code created during the creation of Campaign itself. Therefore i would like to know:

1) Will it be possible to insert the PRC code during the creation of a new Campaign in CRM (but NOT during sending outbound mails)?

2) Is the PRC code unique to EACH and every Business Partner? Can we have a single PRC code for a Campaign and a Target Group instead of each individual BP?
