Hi,

i've a problem: i want to use two server: first is principal server that i always use to store Sap business One data. In second i want to to copy a database back up , if the first system crash.

My answer is: can i link my Sap Business One system to this new server, if the first crash, without using a new license file. Thanks a lot

You could try to put your license info on other servers. B1 always look up licensing info through dedicate port which you can redirect to.

However, the real problem is that the license info depending on your hardware key which will not apply to your back up server.

Hi Lorenzo,

the license server needs a separate file for running on each machine. The machine code and file depends on the hardware and the os. Perhaps it is possible without 2 license files, if you use a VM-Ware server. But i really don't know it.
