Can we view iView seperately as a webpage

Former Member

Hello experts,

I have created an iView and also a quicklink for it.

But when i want to view the iView i want it to be seperately viewed as a webpage and the portal contents or frame work should not be visible.

In short if i have an iview pcd:portalcontent/com.sap/A1, then i want to view the iView as:

https://portal:port/irj/portal/A1.

Then i should be dragged into the iView directly and should not get the portal page.

Awaiting reply,

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Ramalakshmi.S

Change the iView property 'Launch in new window' to 'Display in separate window'

Hi Ramalakshmi,

Yes, you can see the iView separately. You just have to change one of the iView properties.

Right click your iView in the pcd under the content admin role, Open object for editing & Go to

Properties -> Navigation category -> 'Launch in new window'

change its value from from "display in portal content" area to "display in separate window" or "display in separate headerless window".

Check the below link for headerless navigation:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/a6/687b45d6e646d1be3fd145e06f084d/frameset.htm

Hope this helps.

Hi Nithya,

I tried by changing the property but still i am able to view the iView inside the Portal framework.

Is there any other settings or property need to be changed.

Please advice.

Thanks,
