Supress blank pages from main report when linked to subreports

Hi,

I have one main report and three subreports linked to main report with user ID. When I execute, I get all data as I wanted. My main report has page header (not in any sub reports). When I run this report, I get blank pages with page header on each blank pages. I want to suppress these pages and I can not do it.

All my subreports have "keep together" options unchecked and supress blank pages on every sub report and main report. I am so puzzled and unable to fix this issue. Can anybody help me fix this issue please?

Look at the sections in the main report that the subreports are in - make sure that you have Keep Together turned off for those as well. Do you have any groups in your main report? If so, you should also turn off Keep Together for the groups.

If neither of those fixes in the main report resolve the issue, you'll have to turn off Keep Together for the sections and groups in the subreports.

Hi Dell,

I tried both ways as you mentioned above. Same result.

Thanks

Hmmm.... What version of Crystal are you using?

Would it be possible for you to save the report with data and attach it so that I can take a look at it? You'll need to change the .rpt extension to .txt to get it to attach.

Hi Mona,

Please re-attach the report "with saved data".

Before attaching the report here, please change its extension from .rpt to .txt (you've exported the report to .txt which is not what Dell asked for).

Another alternative is to upload the report to Google Drive or another file sharing site and post the URL here.

As requested , here is a link of my file. I want this file sorted by usergroup (homeroom) followed by student ID. All blank pages need to be removed.

Thanks
