Inspection Lot does not allow goods issue

After assigning the plan to the inspection lot please calculate the sample size.

Unless sample is calculated the status of the lot will be in CRTD status

If you are on the change inspection lot screen, once you assign the inspection specification go to the next tab 'sample; and click on the sample calculation button

Only if the sample is calculated then the inspection lot shall have status REL

One example where sample could not be calculated due to no unit conversion maintained between base unit and sample unit

What was your sample size in your case?

Not able to view the attachment. Kindly reassign/attach with the detailed screen shot , to understand & assist for the reported issue.
If not able to attach, describe the details of the error/problem, that you are facing completely.

I am unable to release the inspection lot. That's why the PGI is not done from SD site.

The Exact Error is Status Of Inspection Lot XXXXX/ Partial lot 00000 does not allow goods issue.

Error msg no. VL171.

Hi,

If the Inspection Lot is in the CRTD( Created Status), which seems to be missing of the Inspection Plan.

Please check the Inspection Plan with Usage= 6 & Status = 4. for this Material, in the Plant. If you have one, then go to the change mode of the Inspection Lot & Click On Task List & assign the Inspection Plan & save. with this your Inspection Lot will get REL ( Released) Status.
Once , Inspection Lot is in the Released Status, then do the Results Recording & Usage Decision.
After this, System will allow the PGI.

still i have the same error. The inspection lot is in crtd mode. I have done all the above step.

Hi Sudhansu,

Please share the details of the Inspection Plan , with Valid from date, Usage, Status & also the Inspection Lot creation Date, if these dates are not matching, then system will not pick up the existing Inspection Plan. then, the lot will remain in the Crated status.
