Create Master Data on the Fly - Issue when importing Transport Files

Hi Experts,

When we are importing the transport files for Master Data on the fly from the document in the link "https://blogs.sap.com/2015/08/30/create-master-data-on-the-fly-in-sap-businessobjects-planning-and-consolidation-101-nw-version-for-netweaver/comment-page-1/#comment-421781" we get the below error,

The document also mentions that for BPC 10.1 NW we will have to create our own custom process chain, but what are the steps that we will need to include as a part of the process chain is unclear.

We are running on BPC 10.1 NW on BW 7.4.

Hi Vadim,

When we checked the process chain in RSPC, it was available but was not active.

We activated the chain implemented MD on the fly.

Hi Vadim,

The client requirement is while creating the MD on the fly they also want to define the values of its properties rather than have it copied from another member of the same MD.

Eg: MD DIMENSION1 has fields - ID | DESCRIPTION | PROPERTY1 | PROPERTY2

They want the flexibility to define the PROPERTY1 and PROPERTY2 when creating a new entry for DIMENSION1 along with ID and DESCRIPTION.

But here the option is to copy the property values from a member of the MD.

Is it possible to achieve this.
