Hi guys:

I have some doubts about release strategy and release code.

From release strategy configuation, we know that which release code the approval need to release this PO.

But, Is there possible one PO need two or even more persons to release?

Could someone explain it for me? Points will be awarded.

    hi..

The reason why 1 PO need to be release by numerous people is due to the amount of the PO.

Example: PO with amount say less than 5k might only require the Purchasing manager approval. Anything require from 5.01k to 10k might need both the Purchasing manager and the Purchasing Director approval.

I think this is usually require because PO will create inventory exposure and thus the higher the amount, we need higher level approval for numerous reasons ranging from Budget to profitability.

    Hope this help.
