PB00 Condition is default in Contract creation

Dear Team,

While creating contract system is fetching default condition type PB00 instead of PBXX Condition type even though i am enetring price manually in Net price field system generating backend automatically condition record in MEK1.

But in the case of purchase order system is fetching PBXX only but in the case contract why system is fetching PBOO Condition type.

In pricing procedure i maintained subtotal "9" against condition type(PB00,PBXX) and requirement "5'' maintained.

Please provide the solution why system is creating condition records automatically.

Thanks,

Maruthi

Hi,

As you know, contract and info record has master conditions always. If its a master condition, the condition is determined in the document through the access sequence assigned to it. If its a contract, master condition is determined based on the condition table 16 (in standard) which is assigned to the access sequence 0002 (in standard) assigned to the condition type PB00. Since there is no access sequence for PBXX, it wont be determined as a master condition.

You may remove the condition table 16 from the access sequence assigned to the condition type PB00 and check the system behavior while creating a contract.

Refer the note: 28437 06658 Not possible to determine a condition type which explains more about the master conditions.
