Status Profile for the supply relationship Vendor

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to maintain status profile for the supply relationship. we try here to just copy from standard but we don;t get through. since we are not able to assigned here Business transaction as well as when we assign this profile to the inspection type 01, system gives wanrning message that "Status profile QM_P_00X is not allowed for "Insp. lot with plan and char."

Pl help me to resolve this issue

Hi Madhu

Status profile for the supply relationship is required to be assigned in Quality Infor record of Material-Vendor-Plant in the status tab.

We have defined Status Profile QM_L_00X that is copy of SAP defined status profile QM_L_003. we have maintained two status RRNR and QINF. In RRNR Maintained business transaction make usage decision :-disalowed (X) and set action (X) and result recording:- allowed(x)

In QINF maintained business transaction close insp complete:-allowed(x) set(x) complete inspection short term :-allowed(x) set(x) and start inv post bef Usage decision:-disallowed(x) no action (x)

this status profile is assigned to inspection type, inspection plan has been created , and mic is assigned which has indicator set required char, single value, print, LSL, Sampling Procedure.

My Problem is when record inspection result and closed it.and go to for usage decision system doen not allow me to do UD ,

Hi Madhu,

In config go to SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Status Profile -> Define Status Profile

Now double click on your status profile to view the individual statuses, now select the object types button on the screen.

Check to make sure that the "Insp. lot with plan and char" option is ticked, only if this setting is ticked will it allow you to assign the status profile to an inspection lot with a plan and characteristic assigned.

If you wish to have only 1 status profile for the inspection lot type 01 then go to SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Inspection Lot Creation -> Maintain Inspection Types. Select inspection type 01 and assign the status profile you require.
