error in reporting

Hi ,

here im facing a problem in reporting , ie when i take a calculated key fig the out come value is showing me an extra decemal point for example

the correct answer should be 23.45 but it is showing 234.5 . where might be the problem .

i had tried even by pulling the KF directly with out any calculation , even though its showing me the wrong decemal point in my reporting . plz reply as soon as possible.

Hi,

Go to the properties of the Key figure in the query --> Display. Check the no of decimal places. Try changing it. It would change the output.

One possiblity might be u have more than 1 record with this value and the value is getting aggregated?

Hi ,

I had checked with the aggregates also

it is the saame with the other records also . when i give the KF direct out put it is showing me the right fig . but when i put the same KF in the CKF its giving me the different fig ie one decemal more. so what you want me to check further . i had even checked the CKF properties also .

Check the properties of your CKF and see if you have any scaling factor.If so remove it and try.Also check for number of decimal places there.
