Gurus

I am not aware much of QM & would request to give your comments on following questions

What are the settings in QM applicable at client level & plant level

Process flow from first step to last step in case of raw materials procured i.e. a brief overview with T Codes from procurement to UD

Thanks in advance

Regards

hi

Maintain Settings at Client Level--> what ever seting entered in this transaction will reflect for all plants assinged int his client.i.e In this step, you can change several controlling functions.

These controls relate to different components in the QM component; for technical reasons they are collated in a single table

Maintain Settings at Plant Level-->you can change and supplement several central controlling functions at plant level:

These controlling functions relate to the planning and implementation of quality inspections; for technical reasons they are collated in one table. The functions you want to use for quality inspections determine which settings are relevant for your requirements. Read the online documentation to familiarize yourself with the meaning of the fields in this table

Hi Ashok

That was really useful. I want to know what are the points to be taken care before making any changes in QM part so that they do not apply to client level.

Also can you throw some light on MIC? How is MIC different from other characterisitcs which we need to analyse and how are they linked to sampling procedure??

Hope i am clear

Rgds
