We have system landscape CRM-ECC-APO*gATP system integrated. We have two sets of materials for which atp needed to be checked via APO and ECC system respectively from CRM system.
We are facing issue that from CRM in an Order with a item category detemined, atp check can be done from APO/ECC system. But, we want system to have some intelligence to know first if this is a gATP /ECC material and then do the ATP check from APO/ECC respectively.
By SAP standard, its not possible to do atp check differently for one item category from CRM system due to ATP Profile config setting at item category maintenance.
Did you try "Requirements Profile"?
As per SAP doc:
In this Customizing activity you maintain requirements profiles. Requirements profiles contain parameters at requirements level that are relevant to the availability check, the transfer of requirements, and for transportation and delivery scheduling. The requirements profile is used for connection to external systems, such as SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) or the ERP system, that do not transfer these control parameters.
