batch change event

I need to run a batch job everytime a material batch MSC2N is changed. I have been able to find the user exits and BADIs associated with this transaction code, but is there a batch change event that gets triggered when a batch is changed. Then when the even gets triggered, I could run the batch job and this would be ideal
