Creating a custom grid in SNP94

Former Member

I am looking into creating a custom SNP94 data view.

I would like to pull up a selection for multiple materials and then drill-down to the material level.

Right now, each key figure is displayed for each material and also a total for each material so it looks like this, for example:

Month 1 Month 2

KEY Figure 1 Total

Material 1

Material 2

KEY Figure 2 Total

Material 1

Material 2

KEY Figure 3 Total

Material 1

Material 2

Is there anyway to change this view to be like below: Either through settings in the Planning Book config or custom development.

Month 1 Month 2

Material 1 Key Figure 1

Key Figure 2

Key Figure 3

Material 2 Key Figure 1

Key Figure 2

Key Figure 3

Total Key Figure 1

Key Figure 2

Key Figure 3

Thank you so much for your support and knowledge in helping answer my questions.

Forgot to mention after you've ReOpened the Selection on defining the Pivot Sorting .. then on the Planning Book Header Selection ... Select "Details (All)" for the Product Characteristic to see Details by Product by Keyfigures and this will also show the Total for Total Product.

Hope this helps. I retested in SCM 5.0 here and it works for me exactly as you want in Standard Functionality.

Additionally the Option of Filtering only the KeyFigures you want is an fantastic functionality to help the Planners see Only what you want to see. You can have Totals of only specific Months shown on the Right. (Inside Planning Book select from Main Menu -> Settings -> Row Totals -> Selected Columns".

These things I have found with experience, Planners love to see exactly what they want to see including say Totals of the First Quarter (total of 3 months).

Anway ... I hope this helps and please do award if it did.

Thanks Ambrish, I just tested this out and it is exactly what I am looking for but I have two questions.

1) I switched the columns and rows so that the time buckets went down the grid instead of accross and now I cant seem to get the user setting "Drill-down" setting to work.

2) Is there any way to display the row totals by default or do I have to go into the transaction and to that menu path every time?

When at a drilled-down level, is there anyway to hide key figures for the Total Rows and not the Detail Rows or vice versa, hide certain key figures for the Detail Rows and not the Total Rows??

Hi Stacy,

You can check if the disaggregation is done using function AGG_LEVEL() and hide using the function COL_VISIBLE() or ROW_VISIBLE() to hide.

refer to [sap help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm40/helpdata/EN/1d/310eb3d0ee11d4b2e40050da385632/frameset.htm] for more details on these functions.

Stacy,

If I've understood your requirement correctly ...

What you need to do is Standard Functionality in SCM-APO.

Which version of APO are you using ? This is available as Standard from as early as SCM 4.0. I've done exactly what you need with Standard APO Planning Book functionality.

Please Explore the Buttons in Transaction /sapapo/SDP94 after you've Opened up your Selection in your Planning Book.

Select "Header ON" in your Planning Book and then ... click on "Header Settings" to define your Drilldown.

The Click on "User Settings" on Top Toolbar in Planning Book and Click and define 2 things "Pivot Sorting" and "Navigation Path (Drilldown)". In your Pivot Sorting you define the "Product" first, maybe if you want "location" next and Finally define the "Keyfigure" as Last. Save your Settings.

Then REOPEN the SELECTION.

You can also use the Magnifying Glass to Filter KeyFigures only that you want to see by selecting "Multiple KFs".

Hope this helps. If it does, please award.

Hi Stacy St. Peter ,

I think your problem will solve by using PIVOT SETTING.

Do one think, when you drill down to detailed level. Right click on the Data View name which is located at just below the upload data & Desgin. Click on Pivote setting. Drag Material & drop above the Key figure. & press Contnue. You will find the the one materials having all the key figures infront of them.

This seeting you can put n to default also. Press "Maintain User Setting" Go to second last tab Pivot setting. Do Pivot setting over there.

Hope this will help you....

I am not able to get your requirement completely but if you wants to change your planning table layout than you can do it by BADI:(SE18/SE19)

/SAPAPO/SDP_SELECTOR

Method :ALV_LIST_LAYOUT_SET
