Error while creating contract in ME31K

Dear All

We are getting Funds management related error while creating MM Contract in t-code ME31K. Please see attached and advise on resolution.

When I fill relevant details in "commitment plan" tab, system still does not derive commitment item and gives error. So we are not able to save in ME31K. CI item field is disabled.

We selected "Commitment Plan active" checkbox in contract type config in Purchasing node. Now FM details related pop-up does not appear in ME31K. Instead a new tab "Commitment Plan" is seen in ME31K screen. Please see attached.

Is it usual to fill details inside "commitment plan" tab in ME31K ? Our MM consultant is not sure if this should be really activated. Because it requires additional input from MM users.

In field selection string, commitment item is marked as "optional entry". Inventory GL Account for this material ( OBYC - BSK ) is mapped to Commitment item in FMDERIVER. This CI has fin
transaction 30, CI category 3, Stat CI checkbox selected.

Please suggest how to resolve issue.
