SAP BPC 11 correlation with SEM - BCS or FI - Integrated Planning

Hi Expert,

Now my company runs SAP BPC 10.1 standard model and have planning to implement SAP BPC 11.

Previously , we upload data budget from SAP BPC into former budget in SAP ECC.

If we implement SAP ECC S4/HANA , the former budget is not active anymore.

So , my question is, where do i should put my budget in BPC into ?

Into the SEM - BCS or Integrated Planning ?

Hello,

I think the answer will depend on how you intend to use the data that was formerly loaded to your ECC. I am not familiar with SEM or BCS so I cannot tell you if they are good replacements for ECC. Most of our customers using BPC embedded use PAK (planning on HANA) for their planning. However, I do not think there is an integration between PAK and S4HANA.

Hi Leila,

Thanks for your comment , do you use the predefined templates that comes from SAP ? if do .. then why i cannot see the predefined templates in my system , maybe i missed something to install ?
