Hi Experts

I have 2000+ Products and 2000+ Customers .We are forecasting at Product group level.

I have the following Queries:

1) How to create Selections in the Interactive planning as I have 90 products belongs to the one product Group.

If I create Selection Id for individual Product Group, it is leading to Performance problems when I disaggregate to the product level.(Some times throwing the error Timed out)

2) These Selections are also transported from Quality to Production Server or Selection ID is only created in Production Server as we have real tiime data in Production server. Please Guide me.

usally selection ids are created in the production server to use in production server, try to create in production server try them, i hope it can work,

Hi Sai,

1. Creating selections is completely based on scenario. If you feel that just creating a selection at the product group is heavy, you can always use other characteristics to filter out some them.

In /SAPAPO/MC62, you can pull the selection or enter your selections and see how many CVCs it is pulling in. You can try different combinations and find out what your optimum selection level is. If youget time out with CVCs less that some 20,000 it is an issue you need to deal with basis.

2. Selection ids are usually created in Production as there is all the data in there and your Q or D don't have all so it is not practical to create and transport selections.
