Alert to QC

Dear all

I want to send an alert to QC if the received material unlying in the recieving store without inspection of more than 3 days. How work flow helps in this case in SAP?

Hi KK,

could you explain a bit more on the process.

Is it that whenever a material is received or enters the store, the data is entered in SAP (ofcourse yes)?

Now, the moment you enter/save the data in SAP, you require to know which BOR it uses. For this the moment you save, go to SWELS (switch on) and go to SWEL, check the BOR.

In SWO1 check whether the BOR has any event relevant for sending alert to QC, else you need to create a method which would send mail to respective QC after 3 days.

Thanks for the reply.

QC failed to inspect the goods even after 3 days from the date of receipt of goods. I want to send an alert to QC on the 4th day.
