Maintaining a URL Link in D Q and P systems

Hello -

We have created a Direct Link in the Nav. Bar for our BI reports using the Transaction Launcher. The link works in the development system, the server is correct. When we transport to Q then, the server is different, so the link does not work. We could setup the link for P, and then transport, but we would like to test in D and Q. We have thought about direct updates in Q and P, but would like to avoid this. Has anyone else run into maintaining URL llinks for the transaction Launcher?

Hi George,

for LTX URLs it is possible to calculate the link on base of a logical system. (TX: CRMC_IC_LTX_URLS). When using this, you only have to adjust one logical system instead of correcting all URLs.

However for BI reports I prefer to use TX CRMC_UI_BI where you can define the TEMPLATE to use and a BI system. It will not help you in changing the BI system after transport however. I have never tried to leave the system ID blank. Maybe then the default system is used.
