Custom Fiori with Custom Workflow how to handle Rejection reason code or text

Hello Experts,

I'm new to Fiori & OData world. Please help me on below.

I have a requirement of Custom Fiori application with Custom Workflow.

If workflow is configured in Fiori Workflow Inbox, Along with Approve/Reject button, I want to show dropdown for reason code or comment text for user to enter for rejection.

How this dropdown selected value or comment text from Fiori will be send to backend workflow? So that I can read text or reason code in backend workflow using ABAP and update the tables accordingly.
