MB1B + 309 movement

Hello,

trying to transfer some stock material from one material to another using MB1B transaction and transfer code 309 (transfer from material to material), I get the next error:

G/L account xxxxx does not exist in company code XXXX

I have this problem only with some references and I don't know the reason. I am sure that the error is not related with any G/L account because if it was, then I wouldn't be able to do any transfer at all.

Anyone who has found himself in that situation?

Hi,

Check the situation in transaction OMWB > Simulation > you will see whether the G/L account really exists or not...

It seems that the error was because we haven't done the valuation of standard price yet in the CK11. Just trying now.

(Just correction: existence of G/L account can be checked in FS00, in OMWB you can check which G/L accounts are assigned to the mvt.)

Hi

The reason may be you are trying to transfer a material from one plant to other Plant & this may have given rise to a Price difference , check if the G/L account is maintained in the Company code or not.

Check in the Config for account determinationin OBYC where the G/L account (in error) has been used to identify the exact reason

No, in that case I am transfering the material from one material to the same material, changing the engineering level (for example, material1/001 to material1/002), but in the same company and from the same warehouse and storage location to the same warehouse and storage location, so everything seems to be the same.
