We are making use of SQL 2016's Always Encrypted feature for a number of columns in our tables. These columns need to be visible in our reports in some cases and whilst we are able to decrypt this data through our applications we cannot find a way to do so in crystal reports. The connection string requires an additional 'Column Encryption Setting=enabled' parameter which doesn't seem to be supported. We are currently using Crystal Reports 2008. I downloaded a trial for 2016 but there does not seem to be any support for it in this version either. Am I missing something?
Hi, Joshua
I assume you are asking the question for the Business Object BI server, right? I recommend you add the detailed tag for the application area
as the primary tag in the next time so that the thread could be viewed by specialist from the application area.
For this current question, could you create an incident to BI-BIP-ADM.
Best regards,
Cherry.
