Error mesage in MC74

Hi Brahmankar

I followed ur steps given but still getting below message.

PG relevant to MRP for material DYEDTEST in plant 1200 cannot be determined

Message no. MA547

Diagnosis

You want to pass on material data to Demand Management, but you want this data to be determined via the product group to which the material belongs rather than directly via the material itself.

Either this product group does not exist or it cannot be uniquely determined. In the latter case, the material has been assigned to more than one product group and none of these product groups has been marked as relevant to MRP.

Procedure

1. Check and, if necessary, change the product group you have entered.

2. Use the reporting function Material usage to find out if the material is a direct member of more than one product group.

3. If it is, set the MRP flag for the material in one of the product group master records.

How to solve this.

Regards

Sandeep

    Dear,

In MC74 select the option transfer- 3 PG plan to dement management as per the SOP plan requirement date.

    Check SET PARAMETER of MC74.

In MC84 - Create Product group with all the materials required and enter the % in proption field.

Then plan this product group in MC81. Enter the qty and save it.

In MC76 - Break Down PG Plan to all the materials under it.

Then transfer this plan to DM in MC74 - Transfer Material to Demand Management.

MC74..in which you select the product group and memeber option so that it will transfer requirement of PG and PG member to DM.

Make sure you have carried out disaggregation at all levels if you are using standard SOP. And in addition also maintain the right reqmt type in MC75 while transferring OR the strategy group in the mateial master.

In MC74 choose the option - Production plan for materials or PG members

    Please try and come back.

    Regards,

    R.Brahmankar
