Hi,
I checked material master, BOM and Routing setting. Scrap value not maintained. But not sure how this warming message appear in CO01 and CO10 Production order create screen?
Detail message.
Message no. CO123
You have not entered a scrap quantity when creatin a production order. However, the material master record contains a percentage for assembly scrap.
The system first calculates the expected scrap using the percentage defined as assembly scrap in the material master. It then increases the order quantity by this percentage rate.
Dear,
Kindly check configuration of message CO123 in transaction OPJB.
Warning category can be set for this message from this transaction.
If you don't want warning message then change the category to blank.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply!!!
I already mentioned in my previous reply, the value in BOM and Operation scrap is maintained as 0.00. Assembly scrap is also nil. I knew the message is populated because of the entry. from assembly scrap. My question is even though no value is maintained in either of scrap (BOM, Routing, Mat master), program still throwing warning message in order creation screen. I need solution to suppress the warning message.

Could you please share the MRP1 Screen shot & Order Creation screen shot of Header material ?( as shown)
This helps, in understanding better about the issue, either the warring message is coming, even though the Assembly Scrap is not maintained. Many Thanks for the kind understanding & feedback. Best Regards : Raja

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I did all basic analysis before reaching community. As per my analysis I find the Operation scrap qty and BOM qty maintained as '0.00' in CEWB BOM and Routing. While creating Production order in CO10 transaction for '2' qty, program refers to this value and throws warning message 'Order qty 2.00 increased by 0.000 EA due to scrap.
Also populated warning message no 'Message no. CO123'. Analyzing the message I find the message calls from standard enhancement '/SAPMP/ATRKZ_CONTROL_SAPLCOKO1' and program 'LCOKO1F24'.
Is there is any standard way to suppress this warning message or any OSS message to fix the issue.

Hi LK,
As error long text says, the material master record contains a percentage for assembly scrap. You can check the header material -> MRP 1 view -> Lot size data -> Assembly Scrap(%).

Jessica
