Schedule line category CV - Availability Check

Hi all,

I understand the usage of schedule line category. However, I am not too clear as to the reasonings behind why schedule line category CV does not have availability check turned on and also why MRP type 'VB' for re-order point planning for item category TAN is linked to this schedule line category CV. Can someone please enlighten me on the above?

In my system CV schedule line category has ATP switched on:

I cannot tell for sure right now if this is the standard setup (it is very likely though), but maybe it is a good idea to look for transports that changed CV in your system.

Thanks, I would like to hear from more people the use case of using this without availability check (with MRP VB reorder point).
