Tax Depreciation in Asset accounting

Hi

Could you please give the suggession on the Tax depreciation area in sap Asset Accounting.

As per income tax act we are calculating income tax on block of assets.

What should i do when i do the depr. run system should not calculate the depreciation for tax depreciation area if the block of assets is having negative values.

I hope my questions is clear

Hi

Its not possible to calculate deprn as per Indian Income Tax Act in SAP -though of course there are various work arounds.

In the Depreciation Area Setting maintain the value "Positive Values not Allowed" for the Tax Depreciation Area.
