HI,
documents created in DMS can be saved in R/3, due to increase in volume of documents there may be change of getting load on R/3 server for which use of separate content server is recommeded.
documents storage in standard SAP can be done,
goto dc10-->on the screen you will find FILE SIZE where you give the storage size.
while checking in the document you will find SAP DATABASE as a storage medium where you can save the documents.
Thank You,
Manoj

Hi Dinabandhu
SAP allows to store the docs on R/3(sap table).
but it is not recommended to store the docs on R/3 as the docs are increasing (in long run ) there may be problem of performance.
so it is best method to use content server.
hope this will help
regards
shiv

Hi Dinabandhu Behera,
You can store the document in R/3 tables also.
You please go to the document configuration screen & tick the Use KPRO field.
Now go in CV01N select the original document & when you check - in original document system give you one pop-up.
Asking you storage category select the category "DMS_C1_ST".
This category store the document in SAP tables.

Sunny
