item relev for div

hi,

1) may i know what is the use of item relev for div (item relevant for delivery) in VOV7 (define item category). what is the implication if ticked or not ticked.

2) we have 1 standard item but this standard item category does not select this field in VOV7.

and in the document flow for document base on this category, i can see there is delivery happens. why?

See, once Item Relevance indicator is on, it just shows that the item will be copied to delv. doc. as text or value item, and it does not have any resemblance to physical delivery, until and unless you select the "Schedule line alowed" indicator on, which is for physical relevance of the delivery.

may i know where in the configuration to define that no delivery is needed? like for example, some of the business activity for debit note or credit note, no delivery is involved.

In the item category if schedule lines allowed is not checked and item relevant for delivery is not checked then there won't be any deliveries for that order which is having this item category at line item.

That particular field is applicable where for text or value item categories, you have to decide that whether it is relevant for delivery. Standard item categories like TAN, KBN etc., by default, it is relevant for delivery and no need to select.
