I am trying to understand the rough estimate of S/4 HANA implementation in terms of cost and time frame for an organization (with ~100,000 employees and a revenue of 28 billion USD) opting for system conversion migration option

Hi Aparna,

Unfortunately, nobody should be able to answer this question without more context.

For instance:

• How many active users in the system?
• How many countries?
• Is there any active industry solution?
• Which start release?
• Which target release (on-premise vs cloud edition)?
• Which target deployment (on-premise vs cloud)?
• Which scope (finance, hr, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, etc.)?
• How many servers? What's the sizing?
• Is the source system already unicode compliant?
• Is the source system already on New GL?
• Was the customer / vendor integration already performed on the source system?
• Type and number of inbound / outbound interfaces?
• What is the reporting strategy?
• What is the strategy for the satellite systems (CRM, SRM, SCM, BW, etc.)?
• What is your testing strategy and coverage?
• What is your target UI strategy?
• etc.

What you need is to work with your prefered system integrator on an assessment to answer these questions and many more to come up with a high-level project plan and corresponding cost.
