XS Advanced Migration Assitant Error

Hi Experts,

I am getting the below error when runnig the migration assistant tool. I am connecting to a HANA DB (SPS11) hosted in SCP. My delivery unit contains calculated views / xs odata and xsjs services and a CDS data definition file.

ERROR OCCURED!
invalid column name: name: line 1 col 8 (at pos 7)
In Loading cds artifacts from _SYS_RT.CDS_ARTIFACT

And it does not generate any report. Please advice

I would suggest you enter a support ticket. However please note that technically HANA 1.0 SPS 11 is out of support. It may well be that you must update to HANA 1.0 SPS 12 (which is still in maintenance) before the migration assistant will function correctly.

We have tested migration assistant on an SPS 12 system and it worked.

Hi Ajith,

If it helps, you could upgrade the hana database directly via the cockpit. In fact, if you look at the alerts on cockpit, there should be one already mentioning you could upgrade you database to the latest SP for HANA 1.0 as mentioned by Thomas.

Hi,

We are facing smilar issue where our source system for XS migration tool is 1.0 SP10 but we are using parser system which is 2.0 SP3.

Were you able to resolve the issue and if yes, then do please let us know the steps to fix it.
