We have a 10 CAL Crystal server 2008 setup.
We have a web app that lists links to a crystal report.
When a user clicks on a report link, and it opens the report, this ties up a license until the timeout setting is reached.
Is there a way to set it up so it only uses the license while the report is being generated? We foresee all the licenses getting tied up.
Thanks,
Andrew
That is what I am already doing.
Is there any way to make a static version of the report for viewing that does not use a license while it is being viewed?

No. There unfortunately isn't.
You could however decrease the session timeout .
