How are you? I will tell you that I need help with an entrance design. In an input design, I need to automatically derive an attribute from an object, that is, if the user selects the cost center (1), the company is automatically derived (2). Try adding the company as an attribute in the query, but it did not work, Can you do this with some VBA code?
Thank you all

I Sorry, no, it's not with filter, the idea is that the end user does not enter data, that is to say that the system automatically assigns it, as when in SAP BW you make a derivation in the transformations.
I'm trying to create in VBA code that automatically assigns the value, when change the cell

Hi,
it is unclear whether this is a question about the value help in new lines of the query or whether you want to enter a value in a new line and other fields in the new line can be filled based on this value (by the system). The first is not possible, but the latter is possible based on characteristic relationships. But - by now - Analysis Office expects all characteristics values (from the key part) in the new line and will not allow to transfer the values. Maybe this will be changed in the future, cf. note 2508938.

Gregor

Hi, the approach is to handle this at Query level.
You'd need to create a variable type exit for the second filter and this would be filled based on the selection 1.

I have the same question.
