de-activate alert and e-mail notification when linking a project

We are using cProjects 4.5. When a project is linked to, or unlinked from another project an alert is triggered and an e-mail notification is sent out. How can we de-activate this notification or trigger without de-acitivating other events that may use the same alert. We do not want an e-mail notification to be sent out to the users when a sub-project is unlinked (deleted) or linked (added).

From what I can tell in transaction ALRTCATDEF, the system is configured to use the SAP provided classification "cProjects: MPM Alerts" and the alert catagory of cprojects_mpm.

Hi,

In ALRTCATDEF go to setting click the RFC Destination of Alert server Make it blsnk.

This is the only way to block the alerts.
